It's been a while. Well I'm running 21 straight mins tommorow. I'm Hitting harder, faster, and more technical than I ever have. I'm starting to se emy goals come into play, but now i'm wondering if I should aim for 155, or just stay where I'm at.

Good job! It all depends on what you prefer. Fine tuning is a matter of personal taste :)

This is more a goal vs another goal. If I stay around 140-145 I can work with that and start fighting at whatever weight class that is, i'm worried if I go to another weight class by jumping to 155 I'd be outclassed in strength

Oh, you are fighting! I didn't know that! :) That is definitely a problem if you move up class :P Is there anything good about it though?

Work your way up to the heavier class slowly while fighting in your current class? That way you will be truly ready when you move up?

You have to do what you feel will be best for you. Only you know where you need to be. If you are shortening your original goal, Make sure you question yourself as to why. As long as you are happy where you are or feel its best for you than stay where you are.. Good luck and great job so far!

by "about it" I mean, "about moving up class" :)

The only thing good about it is i'll be a light weight instead of a feather weight, which in all honesty makes me feel better. But also I'm comfortable being my weight so It's all confusing. And the more I move up the harder it'll be to reach my fighting goal which is fighting in japan.

So it's either feeling better with yourself VS fighting in Japan huh. What if fighting in Japan makes you feel better about yourself? :D

But I understand, you could still get to fight in Japan if you went up class but it's looking more difficult from where you are. Things are complicated... :P

Well, maybe give a little more thought in general, The right thing will come to you, and a goal can always be changed to further better yourself. Do not stress too bad about it though. Maybe talking to a trainer to get expert advice may be advisable for this kind of matter?

I've had Tawkwondo classes like 10 years ago or so during a very short time. The instructor told my father I was ok but lacked aggression lol. I couldn't get myself to hit the instructor hard as much as he told me to :P. I would always hit him softly lol. I don't know why.

I think I was afraid of hurting the guy, as much as he would probably not be hurt by it lol.

Well whatever I decide on I know it'll end well if I keep trying for it. I'm just waiting for an answer. I took tae kwon do when i was younger also, but it never felt right for me. In high school I met my best friend who taught me how to street fight, which made me enjoy it more. I'm no ufc fighter, but I do enjoy it. that and boxing.

I think that's the most important! (to keep on trying). Yeah, martial arts like Tawkwondo are more artistic than practical heheh :) Boxing is a great fighting sport! I think you'll do great! You seem highly motivated and that's half the battle won already! :)

probably, the next part of the battle is financing lol
18 févr. 14 par le membre: Bunnyhall
I wish you good luck on that!
