Yesterday I went over my calorie allowance by 170. I stayed inside the allotment for carbs, but I still feel bummed. Today is a new day!! Have a great day everybody!!

Everyone has one of those days. I did the other day because my boyfriend and I weren't getting along. I ate a couple pieces of candy he had sitting here on the computer desk. I felt so bad after I did it but shrugged my shoulders and said never again... LOL ... I think I made up for it by working out. Everyone has their off day or moment. The next day is a new day and just move on. ;)

Nope problem Kim. :) Hey last night I failed and had nachos for dinner. The only good about it was that I actually weighed my chips and the velveeta. LOL See I had a oops day to but like I said the next day is a new day. I usually say damn I failed I'm giving up, forget working out the next day. Now its like crap I ate those extra calories last night even tho I didn't go over my 1200 intake but those calories are bad calories for me that I don't need at all. I woke up this morning and said yep going to go back to the gym to swim and double up my exercise. You need to have the confidence to keep going and if you don't, turn to someone that has that motivation to help you! I know you've been struggling to lose but sometimes that scale stays the same for awhile. When that happens to me I quit weighing for a few weeks. If you look every day or every other day and nothing happens then it gets depressing. If you wait a week and nothing again then maybe add another exercise to your day. I've noticed in the past I used myfitnesspal and followed my calories every day and exercised as well so I thought hey I did good I can eat a little extra of something and I'll still be in my calorie range... That's a big no no... That's how the weight stays on. If you exercise and say you burn 900 calories and then at the end of the day see that you still have extra to eat then you're just adding back some of that 900 you burned. Kind of like I did last night I worked hard at swimming and the treadmill all to what just eat nachos for dinner? So I messed up. Yes, I was still in my calorie range but it was bad calories. Am I making since or just blabbing lol?

No, you made perfect sense. I was weighing myself tooooooo much and at random times to boot. All throughout the day and night. I was going to pull my hair out. Hahahahahaha - I know I have to be patient, but I am a instant gratification type of person. This doesn't always work in my favor. UGHHHHHHH - I will keep on moving on. My fingers are crossed for both of us and our continued success. Yay us!!

Try to challenge yourself to weigh in every Monday morning. Starting next week. I understand about wanting good/fast results and checking every day. It sucks but if you can do without and try every Monday I bet you'll see better results more often. Which will boost your confidence and keep you motivated. I just weighed myself at the gym and I've lost 1 pound since Monday. Now I won't weigh again until next Saturday. What helps me not to weigh myself every day is having such a messed up scale. That thing lies all the time... Lol... Another thought if it's hard for you not to wait have your husband hide the scale from you. I've done that before. Lol... When I was at my highest weight I was living with my mom at the time and I had her hide the scale because it would depress me when I didn't see results right away. Guess what that worked! I lost more weight in the week and seeing that made me work harder at working out. At least try it for one week. I'm going to challenge you! What we can do if you want since I'm not going to weigh again until next Saturday you should do the same. Then both give our results next Saturday. Would you like to try that?

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I believe you are right on track with weighing. I couldn't believe the fluctuations. It was driving me nuts!! I went and got a mani-pedi today, so that helps me feel good too. We can do this. Your friendship will help, Thank you!!

That's good getting something for yourself is always fun and relaxing. Yes, we can do this! If you need any meal ideas let me know. I don't know if you've seen my daily calorie intake but since I've started I've only almost met my daily intake of 1200 and that's only when I ate bad. I'm usually around 500-900 calories a day. Now I feel hungry all the time but I'm supposed to eat between 60-75 grams of protein a day so it makes it hard to get in more calories. Since I've switched to that it makes it hard to reach my 1200 calorie intake unless I eat more. I have a problem with eating snacks it's just something I've never done. I'm supposed to have 2-3 snacks a day I think but I just don't do it. I have a few times. Having this app is nice so when I see the dietitian next month she can look at what I've been eating and let me know what's good and not and maybe tell me I need more calories. That's why I started this app early. It's just amazing from seeing how many calories I used to eat to now. Huge difference. I'm glad we met friendship is always a plus and having someone to help through the rough times. We both can do this and get into shape. If you fall I'll pick you right back up! ;) Okay so no weighing until next Saturday right? Either have that scale hidden from you or keep it somewhere out of site. Which ever way would be best for you.

It is ok. Over the long run, 170 calories is a drop in the bucket. Just keep on keepin' on and focus on sticking to your numbers tomorrow.

Thank you both. New plan, new day!! Weighting on Saturday only this I vow. Hahahahahahaha - The weekend is upon. We will keep our nose to the grindstone and get it done!! Yay
