I have a confession to make :(. I started this meal quite angry. Like, snappy. I snapped at my daughter and husband. I was looking at it knowing it came to about 500 calorrues and was feeling really cheated because it looked so little food....

I think the lowered calorie intake every day is taking its toll at dinner times. But I stuck to it, I followed the rules - ate all the salad first. And after I ate it, I was quite full ☺️ or moreover, I wasn't "hungry" any more.

I think sometimes I panic when having a small meal..... I kinda wonder if anyone else ever feels this....

Maybe try to cook same meal replacing the ingredients for healthier ones 😊 To keep me being good and within my macros, if I have a meal for dinner in my mind, I always check first what I have left on my macros. If that meal will make me exceed it, I leave it for the next day 🤣

Yes momma used to be just like this and did the same as you...so bigger salads and less on the 'other' also drinking a pint of water before helps you to know when you're properly full and not just thirsty. I'm pretty sure most of my old hunger was thirst! You are doing so well tho and this meal looks amazing!

I know just what you mean about certain meals looking small. I’ve discovered I can fool myself into making a meal, particularly a salad, seem ‘bigger’ by adding interest with low cal flavour/colour bombs, like jalapeños or pink pickled onions or radishes, even a bit of sriracha. Depends what you like I know, but psychologically it might help.
