Ugh; weight's not going down. But I ran at 6 miles per hour yesterday! Wow for me! I can only do short intervals though . . . . I still look like I'm pregnant, and I'm wondering if when I had my c-sections they cut through the muscles in my lower abdomen because I can't even do one leg lift without difficulty! I also have to go for a check up and ask about diastasis rectii. Does anybody know about this? It seems like I may have this condition, following my big pregnancies and big babies. .. ..

Don't know anything about it but when you go for your check up makes sure you tell the doc about your leg lift difficulty.

Those abdomen cuts can be sooo bad to over come. I can blame my appendectomy and a hysterectomy for my bulging stomach. They used to cut from belly button to you know where for any operations back in the good ole days. I have some really long scars to prove it.

thank god that has changed dboza. I think a hysterectomy may be in my future because of fibroids. I also hope they will fix my umbilical hernia at the same time.

I know nothing about that condition either, but hang in there & keep at it. It certainly sounds like you are doing all the right things, but a check up with the doctor, seems like a good idea. Xoxox

I used bing to see what you were asking about. There are some Pilate exercises that are supposed to be for the separation of the muscles after a cesarean. Have you googled diastasis recti? There seems to be a lot of info out there. Good luck, hope the doc can help you.
