I weighed in at 147.0 today! That is a BIG DEAL for me for 2 reasons: I am officially down 10 pounds since January 25, 2021. This is also my lowest weight since March 1, 2020!
I weighed 126 pounds in June 2019 which was always my goal. I self sabotaged leading into September of 2019, which led to a lot of weight gain over the winter when I was sick and depressed. Then lockdown started for me in March 2020 and I gained FOURTEEN POUNDS in 6 weeks.
Yeah, it's a bummer that I'm still heavier than I was before the pandemic but I'm finally making progress after 11 months of attempting and failing over and over again to stay motivated to get healthy. I only have 4 pounds to go to hit my prepandemic weight, then I can start focusing on my next mini goal of getting down to 135!
Ideally, I would love to hit my "ultimate goal" by September but I'm happy as long as I keep progressing and building better habits along the way. Maybe it'll take longer, maybe it'll happen sooner. Either way, the time will continue passing.
