Working on an attitude adjustment. I am sleep deprived and as a non-morning person, struggling to stay upright. Insomnia Friday night, wild party across the street Saturday night ( I did end up calling the cops at 4AM, when teen riot erupted in the street), return of insomnia last night. I did exercise every day last week, except for Saturday. I work from 9-6PM on Saturday and am just too knackered to do anything. I cleaned the house yesterday and gardened-I erupted in hives along my arms-sometimes I am more allergic to grass than usual. Gave the beast a bath so he is slightly less stinky. I guess I was productive. I resent having to spend only day off "working" though :(

Have not weighed in yet-feeling and looking very bloated-this 1300 cals per day thing is not filling me with confidence. I am going to try it for another week though just to make sure...I could end up with a big gain and it is scaring me silly.

Today's challenge: Be hopeful and get in my exercise even though I can't even imagine getting dressed, let alone making it out of the house.

It's so hard to be motivated when you're sleep deprived! I hope you catch up on your sleep soon. Maybe a nice nap could be your reward for exercising today! :)

Anything you've "gained" is probably bloated water weight and not fat! remember that you might see a small gain when you increase your calories just because your body is adjusting to the new amount. As long as its healthy calories and you're expending energy, you should start seeing the weight drop in no time. And! remember that a healthy metabolism is a happy metabolism, and happy metabolisms like to do their job- burn calories! lol I am also upping my calories- just trying to incorporate 25-50 calories here and there. I consider it "breathing room" and it feels much better now. Think of your food as fuel for your metabolism, and if it is not fueled correctly it cannot function correctly.

Keep hanging in there my friend. We'll do this one way or another. We just have to keep plugging away! :)

Try to relax and not worry about day to day results regarding weight. You will be fine.

Oh dear! I know how frustrating it can be when we are trying our best and the scale shows a gain. I am positive it is our hypothyroid body trying to discourage us...but don't let it. You have lost 23 lbs girl!! that means you have lost sizes too and you know you feel better and look better than you did 23 lbs ago. Keep in mind why you are doing this and that we need to keep going. Its for our health, so we don't end up driving one of those carts around the market to shop, so we will not only be physically able but look good when we are shopping at the store. So don't let that scale get you down. You have already come a long way. 23 lbs gone and healthier and lovelier today! Keep up the good fight slim...remember the guy that said you were "skinny". Doesn't matter how long it takes, it is happening for you, you are winning the battle.

I finally posted the gain -3 and a bit pounds! Oy vey-what is a girl to do?! I do remind myself constantly that I did loss weight after years of trying and failing and that I will lose weight again. I just don't understand why my metabolism has retreated even further when I have been so kind and encouraging. I give it everything it wants and it can't do one tiny little thing for me-like cough up a pound or two a month? I weigh the same as I weighed in November-some plateau. I have not and will not give up-no worries there. It is just very frustrating!
