Oh my. I have been trying to kick start my return to mindfulness of my nutritional intake after a long and arduous lockdown, which saw me get really fed up and lose any sense of focus or motivation, except with the walking! As I really struggle when I am deprived of music, culture sport - they are my joys! And I have sought to be very restrictive with my carb intake just to spearhead the process.. after 2 weeks, I am getting there with around a 10% carb intake of all calories and and averaging around 14g of carbs per day :) Which, I am not even sure I manage at my very best over the 2years I was working well previously on this site.
But I am finding this past 4 days that I am seriously thirsty all of the time, like unquenchable!!! And my lips are nearly sore with dryness.. has anybody experienced this?? Is this a Keto consequence, or have I got something else to think about as the cause? I would add, I do normally drink a fair bit of bottled water throughout the day and usually 1-2 coffees and a green tea or two? I can't see how I could POSSIBLY be thirsty??
