I don’t like doing math when cooking so I choose recipes that use the imperial measuring system 

Paula, imagine if under hormones I had those I'd look 7 months pregnant 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 

yfrits I'm same way round but the metric. if use ounces I can't just do it... in cups though and spoons I'm good though 

Tan, I like cups and tbsps. Who has time to measure in milligrams?? I have a high tea to attend! 

There's jugs with that 🤭 or scales hahaa I know roughly how much ml are spoons and cups but in baking you can't afford not being precise 😱 

What ? Does anyone use a kitchen scale? I can’t live without mine anymore !!  

Paula, I only measure once and check how much cups and spoons it is then do that instead 🤭 

In same recipe I mean 

I don’t have a kitchen scale. I have a measuring cup. 

A cup of sugar is not same as cup of oats for example , in weight  

Tan and Paula, I don’t measure for cooking. I dump yogurt in my measuring cup and eat from it. My lifestyle may cause those with weak hearts to faint.

Yfrits, in baking preciseness matters or you're having a shitty mess .. at least in cakes.. breads you kinda can dump things like that .. not cakes though 🤣

YF, is that the anise flavored Andean version of aguardiente? Sounds like it could be good, like a damper version of biscotti. 

Mr G, I am learning these things from the fine young ladies from Portugal I recently met here on FS. I think it’s spelled aguardiente in Spanish. These ladies get up early in the morning to bake, and soak the cake in alcohol by 6am!!!
