ahh the thrill of weigh in after 3 days of 'time away' and seeing first hand why people are so easily turned into huge blobs of mass.
it isn't that we were eating all the time, but we went out and dined on hamburger, garlic cheesy mashed potatoes, fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, breaded shrimp, shrimp skewers floating in melted butter, cheese bread rolls, huge waffles, thick bacon, syrup, peanut butter and jelly, ice cream, snickers bar... yep, you see, just the standard American diet.....
4 pounds from Friday 7am to Monday 7am.
and it ain't water weight!
even though we were active, walked, open water swam, and did 3 gym days totaling 120 minutes....
the pounds just flooded back...
reinforces what I have learned, and shared many times.
"You cannot out exercise a bad diet!"
so now instead of seeing 12 pounds to my goal weight... I have 19 pounds to my goal weight....
at my age, I am getting tired of losing those same pounds over and over and over!!!!!!
