When I weigh in on Sunday, I am confident that I will be down at least 10 lbs. overall. Now we face a real challenge, however. Due to a family member's unexpected illness, I am headed to Florida to help out, probably for 1.5 weeks, starting Monday. My husband seems to think this will be no problem, but I think it will be considerably more difficult to mind what we eat while we are away. We will do our best, of course, and I hope that even if we don't lose as much, we will at least not gain. I give myself permission to pick up from here upon our return, and move forward from whatever point I find myself when we are back. Even if I should regain some weight (which I don't really anticipate, as we are not going to use this as an excuse to kick up our heels), it will be lost again when we get back to our normal routines. Slow and steady.
