uh oh I messed up a little bit today. I went to jack in the box to get dinner and I was just gonna get a chicken fajita pita (which is ok for my diet) but I didn't know fries came with the combo (i thought it was just the pita and a drink)which I got unsweet tea. And I ate the curly fries :(. But its ok, I'm not mad about it. Just gotta do better tomorrow and it didn't put me that over my limit.

That's great that you recorded it all and are accountable. Watch out for cravings that might come tomorrow... that's my biggest challenge when I eat something that isn't healthy food.

Thanks Brandy......it is hard when you slip up like that because then you go back to thinking it is so much easier to just eat what I want. Thats the one thing I don't like about eating healthier is the lack of convienence!!!!

Caitie, that is temporary. As you get used to eating healthier foods, you'll find it's not inconvenient at all. An example is that I buy big trays of fresh tilapia in bulk from Sam's Club & when I get home, I split it into quart size freezer bags, about 1 lb of fish per bag. I think I end up with 4-5 of them. Then I'll put one in the fridge & freeze the rest. I also buy loads of fresh broccoli & slice it up/bag it right away. My favorite quick lunch or dinner at home is to steam about 200g of the broccoli & take my little nonstick skillet, spray it & a half bag of the fish with some cooking spray, season fish with lemon pepper & a little kosher salt & cook covered on med-hi heat for 3-4 minutes. Flip fish & cook 2-3 more minutes until done. I'd be surprised if it ever takes more than 10 minutes to cook & get it on a plate.

It just takes time honey. :) My dear little skillet gets quite the workout. In the morning it makes my beloved chorizo & egg whites!
