So it's been a while since I actually typed out a journal entry and not just recorded weight. The fear of possibly losing my job by June has loomed and surprisingly - I have maintained at least what I like to call a steady weight. For all of March I have been in the 120's and I am unsure if that is a good thing or bad. I get mixed remarks from strangers/fellow co-workers ranging from you look good to you look too skinny. But when I wake up in the morning and I see myself in the mirror, disheveled and all - I am just glad that I took the initiative to do something about my health.
Notice I said health, not weight. I stress this because my journey started out in a depressed state and all I wanted to be - was healthy. That meant changing everything in my life and in a sense, it was for the better. I had never been called a pretty lady when I walked down the street or even received a smile from a cute guy in passing. I also always thought that I would be married and have children by now being 35. But - that is not what life had planned for me just yet, now I am just curious on what life has to offer in the future.
Stay strong on your path. If you believe in it, then nothing is limitless - and even though you may cry, you may feel tired in the beginning.... I believe that we are all here with the purpose of friendship. And health. :)
