I had out of town family come in just for today only. I broke 30lbs of weight loss this month, today! Weighed in this morning at 200!! Well, since family came over, they wanted to go out to eat. I already had my OMAD this morning lol. They wanted a Mexican food place and my father in law insisted I eat lol. So I had veggie fajitas, add lettuce, no sour creme, cheese, or tortillas. I basically ate it like a salad! So I have derailed my keto at this point because of tonight. So you know what? Why not? I went ahead and had a few oreos and some chocolate almond milk! And let me tell ya, it was DELICIOUS!!! if any of yall know my diet, y'all know I don't ever touch sugar. Man oh man it was great lmao!! Anyways.. I ain't sweatin' this one out. I will be back on track Monday! I think I am fasting tomorrow as I am quite full. I don't forsee me even wanting to eat tomorrow, and that's okay. But we shall see! The plate was huge tonight!!

great im down to 193.3 but not going to post it yet i try to do it like every 5 days or so .. what kind of diet are you on i like mexican food so much but i cant cook much so i love elrancho grande but no one will ever go there with me ... have a nice day of fasting

Sounds like a nice outing. For my self I always try to check the if I eat this I can also eat this.... because if I go down that path I can end up binging ...But it all depends off course! Happy Sunday!!!

Thank you for the support, everyone! @maggie: single handedly, the thing that changed my life the most was intermittent fasting. For me, I chose OMAD (One Meal A Day). My wife is trying 16:8 (eating in window of 8 hours). For me it ditched a lot of cravings. And it taught me that you don't have to eat when you feel your tummy growling. It doesn't actually get worse and worse like you psychology think. It just kind of has a wave effect. Anywho, that is what got me to lose weight the most. I was vegetarian before this. I transitioned to full vegan about a month ago. Was probably vegetarian for 2-3 years now or so. I honestly can't remember! And then two weeks in to OMAD, I switched to vegan keto omad. So with omad I basically ate what I wanted within veganism lol. I just ditched sugar. So for me, I would have some greens, some beans maybe, or avocado, and small bit od grains. I enjoyed a side of nuts as well. I was a big fan orlf fruits. The Keto version, I was on mostly avocadoes at first, and butter, protein shake, and low carb wraps or bread. Or another meal which is more processed, let's say a breakfast style meal, I will do just egg brand patties, and field roast Frankfurters, and then a side of some sort of green or onions to add some flavor. Then season how I like/want. I'm not certain I will stay with keto version much longer as it's too restricted for my tastes. But regardless, either way. I ditched almost all sugar, and snacks like chips, oreos, cookies, you name it. But that's just how I did it. And I only drink water/unflavored electrolytes. Sometimes tea or coffee but that is very rare now too. Hope this helps!!!

yes im also learing if you dont bring it home you wont eat a lot of junk food.. i havent had sweets for a while so i shared a cinnamon roll with my husband today and it curved my need for something sweet for a while...

@Ocean_girl: Thank you!! :) And yes, I appreciate it!! Gotta keep pressing forward no matter what! Can't get down in the dumps about it. And I am gonna have some splurges each month! @maggie64: Or if you are out to eat, pre-portion half of it in a to go box and save it for another time. You could even put foods in a freezer safe container for cheat meals another time!! Yes, sweets are very yummy. I could not have kicked them out without fasting. I still have them every now and then! Just not daily like old me.
