Okay, I think my scales were wrong yesterday. Still 158.8lbs.
Haven't moved either up or down since 18 October, 5 days, I'm freaking out officially now. I really need to be 156 or less by Monday to meet my target.

I have 3 days to drop at least 2lbs, WHAT IS HAPPENING. If nothing changes by tomorrow I'll have to do a water fast for a day or 2 and clear the system out. Ugh.

Today: increased water intake (if that is possible, I already drink 3 litres a day), will do 90 minutes of cardio instead of 30 before going to bed. Think my body is having a bit of a meltdown from dropping almost 16lbs in 7 weeks. Come on body please cooperate, I can't not see a loss again tomorrow.

What is it you're needing to lose it by Monday for? If it's purely weight loss you're after you might be holding water from eating carbs, so cutting carbs down means you'll lose water weight. But that wouldn't be a true reflection on fat loss, just water weight (which is perfectly healthy but again, it depends what you're wanting to drop weight for). Cutting water for days will make you hold on to it, don't do that! x

My ultimate goal requires me to lose a steady 2lbs per week, which I have done so far. This week isn't working out as normal, I normally drop 1 lbs after 3 days and the second lb the following few days. This week, nothing. I don't eat many carbs anyway, I don't tolerate them well and they make me feel gross, my diet is fairly low carb, minus the odd chocolate (I don't eat things like bread, pasta or pastries of any kind). I am still in the 'overweight' category so 2lb a week should be more than doable. Sorry, by water fast I meant nothing but water! So a fast, no food, but no coffee or tea or anything, just water to flush toxins out etc :)

Think your trying to be to precise the body does not work like a computer, sometimes it retains a little extra water etc. I think as long as your being honest with yourself about what your eating and consistently losing weight then it`s game on, if you lost half a pound over a year that is loads is it not(-:. Half a pound a week is ok, but I expect more for the effort I'm putting in. My body is pretty consistent, I've "dieted" for most of my life so know when I have to increase or decrease my intake or exercise in order to make it move as I know it can. This week it's being weird, I can FEEL that it has slowed, but I have lost 16lbs in 8 weeks so I'm kinda there with the maths. Just frustrating when it doesn't do as it's supposed to!
