We had a 4-day Superbowl weekend and out of town visiting family. These type weekends are tough on my food regimen since all of the family gets together, eats, watch the Superbowl festivities, and eat some more. Due to the several get-togethers most of the food is high-fat, high-salt content. I gained 6.5 pounds during the time we were gone. Thankfully a couple of the pounds have come off quickly. The other 4 pounds will come off in another week. It is really good to get together, but I also look forward to getting back to my regular everyday food and exercise. Today, I road 16.6 miles on my bike in 62 minutes. It felt good to get back on the bike again. My meals, since Tuesday have been back to normal, and today I had my egg breakfast and a vegetable salad with cottage cheese & avocado for lunch. Love my wife's salads. Love her too !! Hope all who read this are doing well and keeping their bodies as active as they are able.
