Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of this man’s love. He’s always by my side to walk with, support, & encourage each other. To build each other up & not tear each other down. 12 yrs together, nearly 10 married and I’m still in awe of him everyday.

Diana and bopuc, thank you very much. My testimony is I was married before. I grew up in an abusive household and married an abusive man. I knew about God and feared God, but I didn’t understand Him and I didn’t know about His love or that He IS love. In my first marriage I wasn’t allowed to go to church without him and he only let us go 2xs to 2 different churches. I didn’t want my son thinking it was okay/normal to be treated or to treat someone abusively, and so I stopped crying and asking God why and stopped asking God to change him, but started reading my Bible and asking God to change me. I started in Genesis and every night read it after putting my son to bed, I got to Deuteronomy before I felt strong enough, confident enough, loved enough, and enough peace to leave. This was my 3rd attempt, and with God, I was successful. It hasn’t been easy, there have still been so many trials, but God has been so good and I’m so thankful for the man He brought to us in my husband. We’ve been together for 12 years, he loves my son as his own, and we have a beautiful daughter together. We’ve grown deeper, more intimate with each other and God over the years, and it keeps getting better and better. Date nights every Tuesday, family prayers before school and work and bed. He is a quiet strength tempered with grace and a powerful love for us. ♥️ God is very very good.🎶 It is well with my soul 🎶
