Ive been on a rollercoaster lately, but I feel like Im getting things under control. Ive had some hormonal shifts that have been absolutely wrecking me physically and mentally. I gave up Diet Coke for Lent and it sucks. I mean, I was drinking waaaay too much soda and not enough water, but I really miss my afternoon soda. If I could keep it to one a day then I wouldnt bother giving it up, but I cant. On the bright side, Ive really been getting in the water. I need to make some Iced Tea so I have something else to drink too.
I havent been to the gym in over a week. Im going to go tonight but take it easy. I want to move, but not die. Then I told my friend I would walk her two goldens this week while shes out of town, so I should get in my steps the rest of the week too.
Sometimes when Im stuggling the most, Ill pick up a "self-help" book from the library and give it a shot. I just read "Dressing on the Side" by Jaclyn London and it was really good. I wasnt sure what to expect but it really gave me a boost and made me realize some things that I have been doing that arent helping. I just really enjoyed it.
