Well, I ate at a Chinese buffet last night and had octopi (plural for octopus) - a food I acquired a taste for in Hawaii as well as lots of calamari (chopped-up squid). Most people won't eat either, they require lots of chewing to eat. Anyway, I gained a lot this morning's weigh-in. Bruce took me shopping - I got lots of food too, and a bath mat that I desperately needed and a new manual can opener, all of them I buy break, so I'm hoping this one is sturdy enough. Today I see my arthritis doctor. It's sunny now, but clouds by late in the day, I'm hoping the rest of the week is not all downpours of cold weather. I am planning on getting vegetable plants for my balcony - it gets the sun most of the afternoon. What is easiest to grow? I am thinking tomato plants first and maybe some herb plants that might do better indoors out of the scorching summer sun. Back to bed to rest for a little while, hope everyone has a good Monday and great week ahead...
