Yesterday I did 34 minutes at the gym. Today, I'm down almost half a pound. The loss continues. I'm hoping the decline will be steady over the next few weeks as I'm going to be travelling at the end of the month/beginning of June. I worry when I travel since I'll have less control over what I'll be eating. This will be my first trip outside the country since I began my diet in March of 2010, and I'll be interested to see how I fare with the fare (pun intended).
The loss of a few more pounds by the end of the month would definitely be positive. I know that any project raises my anxiety considerably, and this trip is going to do so a great deal. On the other hand, the last time I got on a plane, last November, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't need a seatbelt extension (for the first time in years), as my weight was then 20 stone (280 lbs). Now that my weight is under 16 stone (still obese, but at the bottom end of obesity for my height), I am seeing my spare tyre shrink to acceptable levels, and travel is becoming more comfortable as well as less threatening to my waistline.
