Morning All - And HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! to any Mom's out there!! You either are one, have one or both. Even if your Mom is no longer with you, or you are estranged in some way - or your kids are too little to really 'get' Mother's Day... take some time this morning to think about the 'gift' of LIFE your Mom gave you... and what a valuable gift it is.
Part of your life has been here on this site... and likely here as a buddy of mine...or you wouldn't be reading this journal. So thank you for making this part of your life!
Today is a day that usually saddens me beyond words. I miss "my Mom" more than I can describe, and she lives right here in my home. Appreciate the moment. Enjoy your memories. And love today, like there's no tomorrow!
Looking forward to seeing my own kids today (26, 23, 17) - and just hangin' out! Feet up... no chores... no cooking... no anything! Just hugs, kisses, and perhaps a killer game of Monopoly or something!
Then poke in the garden, water some plants, ... maybe a walk or bike ride w/ my daughter -
I'm not sure what I will do... but it will be low key! :))))
