Saturday plans : a quick straighten up of the house from now until 8:30. Gym from 9-10:30. Home at 11. Lunch then the pool all day where I will lay in the sun, swim a bit, lay in the sun more, swim a bit more. Only getting to 81 today. It's been near or over 100 all week. I don't think I have to mow today because it was too hot to grow. Happy Saturday! ❤️

All kinds of shapes and sizes here at the beach & the pool. Most everyone is focused on themselves and their group....having a good time. If anyone wants to judge me, that's their problem. I feel happier with myself after losing weight, but try to not focus on imperfections. I've always worn swimsuits....no matter my weight.

The pool was perfect yesterday, Sherry. Mostly just families. Not too many people. Somehow managed to get burned even with my SPF 50. Oh well.

davidsprincess, I'm so fair my eyes get sunburnt even with sunglasses and a huge hat. I wear long sleeves and long skirts all year and STILL burn. Sigh. Never had a tan. My mother kept saying "I remember you getting brown as a biscuit growing up", I'd agree with her and point to her slightly beige stove, "biscuit brown" in the brochure 😂

I get tan but yesterday got some red mixed in. It's not as painful as past sunburns, so maybe the sunscreen helped some.
