Woke at 208.0. Ate a banana, some cottage cheese with chia & flax, and a cucumber. Came home and was 209.2!!! What? Jumped on the treadmill and did 70 minutes of HIIT and burned 1050 calories. Got off and got a 205.6 weigh in. That’s a spike from my 202.0 of the other day, but at least keeps me in the blue zone. Hopefully will drain this extra water soon!

Wonder if the full moon has anything to do with your water weight? LOL! It does for me. :)

I seem to remember some pretty sage advice you gave me a while back Bill about weight fluctuations and that if I kept doing the right things it would sort itself out, pretty sure you will bounce back mate, how could you not?

Enjoy yourself. But only drink water and unbuttered popcorn.

Kathy - "only drink water and unbuttered popcorn." But then Bill will have to call it something else, Happy Hour just doesn't fit that menu. :)

Okay.... will be checking your diary in the morning to see if you were good. You're too honest not to post it. :~)

I checked the Mayo Clinic's guide for how much fat could be ingested based on a 2,000 calorie/day diet, and they don't recommend more than about 50 grams. Perhaps the extra grams are causing your body to hold onto more water than you want? This may be part of your frustration, if you're constantly battling the same few pounds.

rye whiskey is pretty good ... sounds like a fun time. this whole up / down thing with the weight though, even after a loss - it will go up - but then i net another loss, hopefully, by the next weigh in. always 2 back 1 up. Your 1 up is coming, no doubt.

Did you make a face when you poured them down? LOL!

:) I imagine you did. I would have made the faces. LOL! It's hard for me to drink whiskey straight up.

you cannot beat a good scotch or bourbon slowly sipped. I have a couple in my collection and have a friend who is a scotch connoisseur who often brings his latest 'find' to poker and permits tastes. We have a local distiller who makes an awesome bourbon, and imports the corn from the US for it as he says the OX corn isn't good enough, such is his dedication to quality. They make very few 'top shelf' bottles and sells all he makes at $200 for a small one. Its worth it. You sound like a man after my own heart Bill :)
