Went for an extra walk today. Not much, really, but better than not doing it. That is important to remember: it is not just whether I always do the very best I possibly can, every minute of the day, but whether I am making an effort to improve generally, over a week, a month, or even longer. Slow and steady wins.
If I do very well this week (and it is possible after the 'bad'-dish week I just had), I could be down a total of 30 lbs.(!), and my halfway point is just a little beyond that. I can't help but feel that the weight loss will slow down at some point, and the last part may be the hardest, but I am definitely moving in the right direction. I think I will affirm my effort some more by beholding and gloating over my weight chart some more. I wish anyone who may be reading along the same kind of joy.
