6/4/11 145.4lb, 39.4%bf. Up in middle of night needing another ice pack. Pretty good pain day yesterday during the day but knee is very stiff--no ability to walk naturally.

As for my diet--I'm getting pretty ok with my weight where it is--which is great b/c I assume loss will be by oz vs lbs with so little activity. My biggest issue will be finding my CCL b/c I actually don't do well counting carbs--I just keep them at almost induction level (realizing I'm 'cheating' by quite a bit. But if my aim is 20 and I double it (which I probably don't) I'm safe. That however is a problem when one is instructed to increase carbs by 5 gms/week. Any suggestions???

re: the knee, did you see my comment to yesterday's journal??? As for the carb levels - if you are 'cheating' on only Induction Approved foods between 20-40g's / day, it should not likely be an issue. As for the increasing by 5g's a week - you really need to be tracking your foods daily. There is a method to their madness...and a process to working in OWL. It's not just ANY 5g's / week... and in order to learn what affects YOUR body, and your system - you are going to need to follow the OWL guidelines correctly. a little review at atkins.com might be in order, or dig out your book if you have one. Hope you are feeling better soon. :)
