****Sings: "All by myseeeelfff..I'm gonna be, all byyyy myseeelf"****
Lil Mr. Man decided to be baptized today. Mr. Big Man had the honor to be in the water with him and it was beautiful to witness, and my mommy heart couldn't be happier.
This afternoon the hubby, Mr. Big Man, and the kids, Lil Mr. Man & Lil Miss all left for church camp. They're going to be gone until Thursday, so it's just going to be Lola (our dog) & Simba (our cat) & I.
I came to the realization that, while consciously I have been happy and excited for them, unconsciously I've been stress eating. A lot. Like...A Lot A Lot.... ***Deep sigh***
These next 2 weeks are BIG events for me. Family is away - I don't mind being alone during the day, but really not a fan of being alone at night., Lil Miss has her birthday where she enters the land of double digits, and Lil Mr. Man starts High School. Big work events, too. Doing a lot of training, which is amazing & a blessing; but with my job, training can be emotionally draining as it deals with Domestic Violence - signs, healing, resources...
I'm going to try and get myself out for some walks, maybe a bike ride, at least around my neighborhood. I'm also going to paint Lil Miss' bedroom as a surprise for her when she gets back for her birthday. She already picked out the colors a couple weeks ago. I'm excited to see her face.
Well, that's enough rambling for now. I pray you all have had an amazing weekend and have a wonderfully blessed week. God is good, and I can't wait to hear all about what He does for our youth at camp!

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9
