I managed to fight off that unhealthy craving beast today. By the end of the day I was feeling tired and irritable. I was not in the mood to cook for myself and started to head to Moe’s for some nachos dripping in queso. The old me would have made excuses about why all that saturated fat and sodium wouldn’t hurt me. The new, committed me stopped, took the time to look up the nutrition on the Moe’s website and said “Just no” to myself. I did not eat the meal that I had planned for this evening, but I was able to put together a very satisfying plate of low fat string cheese, whole grain tortilla chips, nuts, cucumber and watermelon. 👌
