Today is the first day my appetite is out of control! I am currently receiving treatment for PCOS (treatment started about 3 months ago) and today hit me hard. I think I am starting to feel real hormones for the first time in my life. How do you guys handle food cravings when you are PERMANENTLY hungry all day long?

Water, rooibos tea, green tea, black coffee. I have come to like almond milk, so I get an unsweetened version and drink that in my coffee when I don't feel like black coffee. Push through! I would also have a naartjie as a snack if I feel like snacking in between. And only 1 per day, max 2.

Also try intermittent fasting with an app to force yourself to go without food for longer periods. We don't need as much food as we think, and we are all on here because we were or are overweight and struggle to control our impulse eating. Fasting has taught me that I don't have to eat all the time and then your body and mind catches on. In the beginning my stomach would growl all the time. Now I can go almost 24 hours with no food and no stomach growls. We are training our bodies to submit to our wills. Your body should not control your mind! Good luck! Watch Marisa Peer on YouTube. high volume, low calorie foods. meals high in protein. I wouldn't recommend fasting if youre struggling with hunger cravings.

Depending on your diet...Try biltong. That's what I do.
