Ok, so I haven’t conquered the scale blues as much as I thought I had. Today, I was up by 1.2 pounds. No idea why. I was intentionally eating more calories this week, to keep my metabolism burning, and I was losing nicely. Then, all of a sudden: WHAM! This morning I was so discouraged by the gain that I was tempted to go to 7-Eleven (at 5:30 a.m.) to get a chocolate donut. I even looked up the calories. Thankfully, I made it through my moment of madness. I’m still on target to keep my average daily calories between 1,550 and 1,650 for the week. Going to be harder to make it through the day on track than I thought it would be, though.
