Issy - right now I am jumping up and down and celebrating! FINALLY - after 3 weeks, I am down a pound!!! YAHOOOOO! (actually I had been up to 148.5) and I was totally bummed. And refused to weigh in and record it until it went under the 145! And it did!!!!!!!! Yeah, Me! Both that was a long 3 weeks!

Ooh Paula you will love the the Gulf Shores, husband and I would go
there during Jan and Feb to get away from the cold here..Beautiful white sand and emerald green ocean..But we stayed at a camp ground in
Fairhope close to Mobile..have a great trip and enjoy the beach girl..

Sherilynn - Velcro Pound!!! LOL! That's awesome :) And Bren, Gulf Shores is where my parents were living when they retired. It is beautiful. Just can't wait! I think I am more excited about 10 days away w/ my husband and no MOM - than I am about where I am going! Could be going anywhere really :) May not even see the outdoors for the first few days ;) (wink!wink!) Much Love.

Enjoy Gulf Shores. While I am an Alabama native, I had never been there until a few months ago. My family had a house on the lake and that was normally our vacation. When we went to the beach, it was always Florida :)
I will say that we enjoyed Gulf Shores. We had the motorcycle and road around mostly. The dear Darling is not a beach person so there was no walking on the beach or sitting on it for me (which was a real bummer). If you like a roudy crown, try the Florabama... it is a bar that is basically a big tent. it is basically a bunch of people my age who used to go to Gulf Shores for spring break. It was not our favorite place but we have friends who love it. I think it might be more fun with a crowd :) And given that I dont drink anymore I was not able to enjoy the raunchy lyrics of the musical talent :) But again, it may be a real hoot with a larger bunch of people....
When I re-read this it is not a good reference for Gulf Shores. Please don't take it that way. you will have a blast!!!!!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend, my friend! I got to see my oldest and his wife on Saturday, which was nice. I sure do miss him. Enjoy your vacation with the hubby...I had a wonderful time with mine at the wedding as evidenced by the pics! lol Hugs and love, Paula!
