Well I made it through the holidays with no gain. If I can bake 5 pies for Christmas and not eat any of it, I can do this, right? I do get disappointed and discouraged when I lose 20 pounds and can't really see a difference. I'm not really down a single size. That's when I start telling my self that it's no use. I worked hard for the 20 pounds and what difference did it make? And that's how I talk myself into quitting. This is the point that is hardest for me.

Change your MINDSET. You are not dieting!!! You are making a choice to eat foods that are healthier for you and enjoy your more special foods just once in a while. At this point in life just concentrate on portion control, stop snacking and grazing, don’t eat at late night. Try to make your dinner meal in the 5-6 o’clock range if you can make it work for you..
And as usual, try to do a combination of cardio and resistance training. Walking, lifting weights, exercise bands. You can do this. Don’t make it so hard that you stop.
