Used a voucher (Christmas gift) tonight for a 5 course tasting menu at a Masterchef winner's restaurant in Newport. How do I track that on my daily food diary?.... I guessed at around 2000 calories so I substituted a Wetherspoon's buttermilk chicken burger and a portion of chips.... Not much difference really. (photo is course No.3- steamed cod with a miso jus)

Sometimes you have to freestyle the calorie count. As long as you estimate high you can get away with it now and again. I hope you enjoyed it!

Cod was done to perfection. Thank god I can't afford to have a posh meal too often, anyway let's see what happens when I next weigh myself. Back on the wagon today!
