It's been a while since I did a prolonged dry fast. I'm okay except the dry mouth. I feel all my cells being busy :) I'll weigh in tomorrow right before I finish my fast. Can't wait to see how much it dropped.

This is actually moremfor healing but it also has a strong weight loss effect if you do the refeed right. The method has ben developed and used in the Soviet era, and still being used in Russia and ex soviet countries. To do this kind of fast you need to get an opinion from a physician knowledgable about this. People with some conditions can't do it. And before you do a dry fast you need to eat healthy for at least a month and also live healthy. Then you start with 24 hours fasts, and slowly climb the ladder. It's recommended to feast 1 day longer than the fast itself to do the next fast. In their clinics people do either 5+7 days fast or 11 days fast. Longer fasts should be done in a clinic. I highly recommend to study the topic before trying anything. There are important details like how to break a prolonged fast and what to comsume after it. One of these clinics has healed more than 20K people so it's well observed and tested. It has become popular all over the world in recent years and studies from all over the world are slowly popping up. One small scale study in Japan shows that even 13 hour dry fasts hes very potent benefits.

That’s cool! I’ve tried conditional fasting for 7 days in a row once - I was allowed to drink only some special herbal tea with honey, thats why its called conditional fasting. 2 first days were hard, I spent them at home thinking that I am dying 🤣 but starting day three something changed and I felt great! I was working in the office as usual and doing workouts🙈 Without jokes if you are not doing enema during that time you could hurt yourself like a lot because all the toxins and digestive juices could be a poison for the body if do not do enema 🙄 thats the worse part 😄 after such experience FMD is super easy to do 🤓 I just hate to lose weight fast, always worry about skin quality.

If you are not overweight your skin will be okay. A propperly done keto diet also feeds the skin very well. One female friend after doing short daily fasts combined with a nutricious keto diet started getting positive feedback aboit her skin. Even by men, which are not known to notice these kind of things normally :)) For obese people after losing big weight soggy skin is an annoying issue, which can be adressed by surgery or long dry fasts.

Yeah, I am not overweight but still always a little cautious about that, because to do any kind of surgery is last thing I want to do in this life:) I beleive more in easy digestible protein intake like 2 gr per 1 kg of to keep skin in good condition. But cannot say anything bad about keto also :)

To follow up..... does "dry fast" mean no food and no water? I do a lot of short fasting, but I always drink water during the fast. A LOT of water! My usual water intake daily is 150 ounces. Sometimes I go over during a fast day....

Yeah, when you do a dry fast you even dont brush your teeth or take a shower, if you want your skin alsomto benefit.

@Yulia, a healthy keto consists of essential and healthy fats (olives and olive oil, coconuts and coconut oil, avokados and avokado oil and butter, nuts and seeds) , some complete protein(animal products or well combined complementing plant sources of protein), mushrooms and an abundance of veggies from all colors.
