This jug weighs 50 pounds. Full of water, it represents the weight I've lost since August of last year. Picking it up, just for a minute, is a visceral reminder of what it feels like to carry all that weight.

I've got another jug, empty for now. As I continue to progress with weight loss over a long term horizon, I plan to fill it. I hope these aids, kept in the nook adjacent to my kitchen, help me fully appreciate the difference between where I am versus where I was.

This is a pretty cool way of not forgetting where you've been and where you plan to go. I would need a couple myself. I'm now down 117 lbs. Congratulations and keep at it.
