Got up and drove the three remaining hours to the funeral today. Ate scrambled eggs and turkey sausage at the hotel in a break from my intermittent fasting. Of course, having done that, I was famished at lunch and ate two Quest bars to tide me over. My cousin had a terrific buffet lunch afterwards at a country club and I enjoyed every bite. Ate a few more protein bars and a third cup of trail mix on my drive back home. Ended up at 2719 calories and 3243 burned, so still got a 524 calorie deficit. Carbs were a bit too high, but I will be able to absorb it. Back to work for the full day tomorrow. Will get on the scale in the morning.
