Journal de onmyway, 19 août 09

Weight's been steady last couple of days, fluctuating just .2 lbs or so. Meh. Whatever. Not concerned...diet's been pretty consistent with what it's been for the past month or two. All a part of the process. Think I'm making turkey/black bean tacos tonight...those sound good. Need to find a way to incorporate a few more veggies though...really feel like I'm coming up short on veggies.

Your steadiness is an inspiration. Turkey/black bean tacos does sound good!! Maybe adding a salad packed full of veggies? That would up your vegetable intake considerably!! Have a good one!

I'm planning out my menu for today. My calories for the day look to be around 1325. The two low carb, whole grain tortillas I plan for my tacos are 160 of those calories. If I drop those tortillas...and serve my taco fixin's on lettuce, like a salad, I would get my veggies. But, my calories would end up rather low. Interesting dilemma to have, but it seems to happen to me pretty often. I could have a glass of wine, adding 195 calories back in, to 1360...and it's not like I really need much encouragement to have a glass of wine. This is like a little math game. :-)

LOL!!! So what did you do????? Wine or tortillas? If I could drink wine I would have!! You are doing so well ...
