Was away last weekend on vacation. Rate of weight loss around 1.5 lb./week for the past month. Consistency is key.

Wish me success as I'm going to be traveling for work over the summer. I am excited to get the opportunity to practice in a new area and teach a summer session for a month. Diverse sources of income increase my agency.

A bit of self-talk/coaching now:

A new environment, with added demands on my time, presents a challenge to stick with these good habits, carefully cultivated over the last nine months. This challenge can be met successfully if I make sure I've prepped meals in advance for during the week and keep up with exercise in the mornings after 8 hours of sleep.

There's no such thing as not having enough time. We all have the same number of hours in a week, from Jeff Bezos to a retiree sipping a cold drink on a white-sand beach. What you are really saying when you say, "I don't have have enough time," is "It's not important."

Eating right and exercising is a priority in my life, not exclusive of, yet still over and above, salary and professional status. It's important.
