still@ same weight. probably a # less but I don't wanna psych myself out next time so I rounded up. reminded today of the reason I'm doing this, as my friend has similar concerns. reminded of competition with 72 year old colon ca survivors & overweight short-white haired seniors. broken down to years in my spiritual weakness, redevoting myself to the service of the Lord, crying out not for mercy but for the strength, and crying out in thanks for these thorns. lately sing difficult patients as practice (like Bertram the Viking) for dealing with the intimidatingly mean people in my life that I see over & over. reminded again of $ struggles as food choices are scarce. before I lost weight by default of being poor. I recently attempted to lose weight because I was embarrassed by my inability to cross my legs, then embarrassed by my double chin, then embarrassed by the thought of docs & nurses seeing unsightly parts of my body if I happened to have a heart attack. reminded again of Andrea & the hovering shadow that had become my true motivation.
