Today I'm feeling pretty good and high in energy. On Monday night I went on a small little hike after dinner with Maria at Box Springs Canyon, it was nice. On Tuesday night I went for a walk around Rubidoux park w/ Ed after work. I've been really watching my caloric intake and trying... trying to pick healthier foods. I've slowly been trying to work in some sort of exercise.

Loving the new job though... I'm seeing how much easier it is to try and be healthy through the Health and Wellness initiatives on campus! I have a walking fit thing now and a a little workout flash card set for things i want to do in my office at lunch time! I'll start that next week I think. This week I'll focus on getting in steps and walking. Next week I'll start doing some strength training.

I'm excited. I want to see changes, and I think this time around something might actually stick. If not, well... then I get back on the horse and try, try again.

I'm 35 years old now... something has got to give.

Oh, yes, I'm going to find a doctor and do a physical exam... it's going to be brutal... but I need to do something and get a bench mark. Not sure when I'll schedule that yet... LOL :).
