it pains to record this weigh in but the past few weeks haven't been easy, illness aside. This section of trauma recovery is TRULY the worst of it. I dread every trauma processing session, to relive the worst, to speak it out loud. Yet through the pain is the recovery, to let it pass through and release. At the other side of this EMDR target will be who I am without the trauma. Mentally, I will be at maintenance; that's terrifying as I haven't lived without this shield 🛡️. I haven't lived without trauma-its what I was born into. I don't know who I will be at the other side.

Even lighting can effect kids with autism. Dim light is best when possible, and florescent lighting is a no no. Every little bit helps!

I also used to put lavender oil on my Aspie's wrists every morning & throughout the day when he was younger, and would put him in a warm bath with lavender Epsom salt, candle light, and calming music when he had an episode.

Yesss he changed the light to be a dimmer downstairs in the 2nd living room that is like the kids' zone, with his sensory swing and such. Wax warmers, no! Kindo forgot about those to be honest. We are big candle fans.
