I've been struck by how much real food you get when you cut out the processed foods and the crap. I've had three satisfying meals today, not skimped on fat or calories, and only eaten half of my RDI.

If you remember, I told you that once you get on track, you will find it hard to get to your RDI, because the meals will be so filling that you're not hungry at all. We both seem to be stuck for a while, but the scale WILL move eventually. I know for a fact that even if the scale didn't move for me in the last few weeks, I can not just measure, but see how my thighs got slimmer, and my butt and hips too. The jogging pants that I had bought when I was overweight, that I had to wear with the hem rolled up because they became too long, now are barely hanging on my hips, and I foresee in the near future that I will have to tighten up the elastic band at the waist if I dont' want to risk losing my pants while doing my morning walk.

Isn't it wonderful! The food tastes better and is much more satisfying! I noticed first the difference in my skin. My face just looked better. Then I noticed in how I felt. I wasn't dragging all the time. I think things like that are just as important as what the silly scale says. Probably more. For me also my blood sugars came back to normal and now my other bloodwork has improved. My measurements are lower every month. The scale will catch up sooner or later, but remember all the positive things, and don't sweat the scale numbers.

Sounds like you're doing it right. If you find calories are just way low and you can't get there, have some nuts. Weigh the little guys. They're loaded with calories but tend to really satisfy cravings.
