This morning, trying to undue the damage of yesterday, I started my day by drinking 20 oz of water as soon as I awoke. About 30 minutes later, I had my regular cup of coffee (organic stevia & coconut milk), then jumped on my Wii for a short run. I have hip problems, so walking can be painful, but I can run in place on my Wii with no problems. Before my run, I warmed up with 2 sets of step aerobics, 2 reps of ten steps on each leg using an 8 inch rise, and a 30 second plank. This may not seem like much, but for me, it's a pretty big deal. I work as a nanny for a one year old, so my working day consists of a lot of lifting, bending, and stooping, but mostly playing from a sitting position. My goal is to begin each day with my short run just to get my metaboism going. Wish me luck!
