Congrats! I found the countdown exciting and a bit scary. It's a big change, but I can't imagine going back to work. I do volunteer work when I get bored.  

Thanks, all! Joe -- glad I made you smile ☺ OTB -- yep, that's the idea! February is usually still prime ski season, and I'll be free by then. Tink -- volunteering is definitely a possibility if I get bored, but I'm not sure what that would look like for me. Right now I'm wanting to steer clear of any time commitments that might interfere with a good hiking or skiing day. We shall see! 

Good idea, no time commitments for anything but what YOU want. Trying to slow down myself. I can pretty much work as I wish as it is but hoping to take January-February off just to see what it’s like NOT to sit behind a steering wheel and to call my time my own.
