i weigh and track and measure every day. according to my history, June 1 of 2022 is when i hit my goal weight. since then, i've dipped as much as 6 pounds below and 5 pounds above.

thus is the nature of weight, it won't be that 1 goal number 100 percent of the time.

on the positive, I have been walking at goal weight for 18 months.

and i say "walking around" that doesn't mean i achieved it and the work was all over. nope. it's just as hard, and some say even harder, to stay down as it was to get there.

everything has changed. and that's great. my goal was to create a lifestyle change i can stay on forever.

new years is coming. i started this "diet" on a random sunday in august of 2021.

if you're starting, don't fall victim to "after the holidays" or "new year". i have learned that takes away the power and ownership we have over this endeavor. we all have more control and discipline and power than we give ourselves credit for.
