No snacks after dinner except my coffee. Love coffee and the caffeine doesn't seem to ever bother me. I'm only a 1-2 cup a day guy, though. Went and lifted weights after dinner so that was relaxing and always feels good. I like the slight soreness that comes the next day. It lets me know I'm doing something and reminds me to eat better. For some reason I like going to bed with an empty stomach. I like knowing that I'm burning fat rather than sugars at night and then "breaking my fast" in the morning always tastes so good. Tomorrow is a bit higher carb day so it's steel cut oats and mixed fruit for breakfast. Love those oats! Good night all!

What makes one day a higher carb day than another?

I alternate my "high" and "low" carb days. It's a bit relative but I try to mix up my diet in order to avoid plateaus. I've always had great success with it. For instance, today I had oats for breakfast and I'm having quinoa for lunch. I'll try to avoid carbs later in the day because I don't want to be burning the carbs for energy when I go to bed tonight. It's really a take on the "alternate-day fasting" method without all the harsh actual fasting. ;) lol
Thanks!
