I would recommend waiting one hour post eating so you can digest....otherwise you could get cramps

it's not recommended to workout fasted all the time, it can lead to increased hunger. especially for women given the different hormone cycles we have. Stacy Sims has a good book on eating and working out called Roar - definitely recommend!

What has seemed to work best for me is to exercise before breakfast to force burning fasting fat, and/or light exercise immediately after food later in the day to pull the blood from my digestion making it less efficient and moving it to my muscles where its required, and/or heavy exercise in the evening to pump my metabilisim overnight.

After eating. I prefer nightly workouts 7pm

More like whatever works best for depending on what kind of exercise you do.

I have found carb-loading (~ 200 cals) about 30 mins prior to workout (~ 2hr of weights) followed by protein meal (~ 500 cals) after workout does my body best.
