The last week and a half have been very challenging for me. I'm walking daily and eating the same...well maybe a lil less to be honest and I'm not losing a single lb? I don't understand if I eat less and continue to exercise the same wouldn't my weight drop? I'm thinking skipping a few meals and/or snacks may be whats causing me to sit at my current weight. I started out so strong in the weight coming off. now its not budging. I think I need to re-read the Dash Diet guidelines for motivation. Have a great week FB buddies! :-)

I'm not familiar with 'Dash' but if you have room to 'vary' your calorie intake (say you're shooting for 1200/day, then make your goal to AVERAGE that by eating more on one day -- like 1500 -- and less on another -- 900). This can keep your metabolism on its toes and always 'guessing' rather than 'settling into' a routine.

how do your clothes fit? try using a tape measure and write down your measurements. then do this on a regular basis. it's very common to lose inches and not weight. could just be a plateau and you need to stick with it to get to the other side. our bodies can be stubborn sometimes! good luck!!

The Dash Diet is a diet my dr recommended due to my chronic high blood pressure---its basically like many I've seen. A high protein, low carb, low sugar, low fat, low everything yummy....lol! I will try varying my cal. intake. Thanks! And you know what...I did hear something about losing inches instead of weight...I've got a tape measure in my desk...i'll start measuring myself.. I really appreciate the advice and support! Thanks Buddies!

Suggest you read "The Big Fat Surprise" it is enlightening and informative. It dispels the misinformation about dieting. This extensively researched book dovetails on Gary Taubes book "Good Calories Bad Calories"

In addition, try 100 mg of pycnogenol for your blood pressure

I looked at your diet calendar. I think it may be all the carbs.
