Lil Miss wanted to take me out on a mommy-daughter date w/ her babysitting $ before school. So proud of her, she stepped out of her comfort zone, placed the order & counted out everything on her own. ♥️ Enjoyed my time with my sweet girl ♥️ Very blessed

Anna my child went to a Christian school with no bus system in place so i drove her every morning and when she hit high school we would stop at a tullys on the way that had a gorgeous fireplace and cushy leather smoking chairs (no smoking tho thankfully) and would stop at 6:30 most mornings and have a latte and a one hour visit. We did that all thru high school. I loved those times. Sometimes we would invite my mom to join us and as it was so early it was usually pretty empty inside. Great memories. I also did mommy/daughter dates thruout her childhood some where we would get super dressed up and go to a fancy dinner or a play at the 5th ave (back when folks dressed up to go to plays). Your girl will remember these moments for a lifetime. Good mommy Anna🥰 great kiddo you have.

Blessed indeed! Such times matter so very much. She will remember this forever. My middle daughter, who is now married with a child of her own, still talks about our morning stop at Spangles for French Toast Sticks when I drove her to school. I'm just not sure who trained who to believe that promise was the best way to get her out of bed and ready for school on time. 😅

YoH, I love dates with my kids. My husband and I both do daddy/mommy - son/daughter dates so they get time one on one with us. My son and I do ours after Wednesday night Bible study 🥰♥️

A really good memory for both you and her. One of my granddaughters who is almost 10, did something similar on a much smaller scale. She wanted to send her grandmother a letter. She asked her mother to take her to the post office so she could buy a stamp to put on the letter. Her mother said that she had a stamp and did not need to go to the post office. But granddaughter said no, she wanted to buy the stamp with her money so she could send the letter to her granddmother. So, they went to the post office. She truly does have a heart of gold.
