Ok ok... two lessons recently learned.. do not pour copious amounts of lemon juice in your water.... carbs that weren't previously accounted for.. might explain a lot ..... and eat breakfast before you bring your toddler to baby gym... you will feel like you are going to die if you don't eat... and you will eat something stupid...... better luck tomorrow

You needed something. You've been holding way back on calories. Hope you enjoyed it! Now you get right back on a sustainable track, and it's all good. You do have to live in the real world sometimes.

for me those lessons that are hardest learned are the ones that stick. I carry 1/4 cup of walnuts with me everywhere I go. It works for me.

I had no idea that lemon juice had anything in it so I did not even bother to log it in! Another mistake I have been making. I put it in my water all day long! Thank you for posting this!!

I went through the same thing with lemon juice...lol. Who knew it would make such a difference!! I was SOOO saddened when I realized just how carb sensitive I am. BUT, I have learned how to still enjoy things and stay within my limits...I get my LEMON/lime/whatever fix by making a lemon cheesecake or curd, and on days I enjoy them, I pretty much have hardly any other carbs...

Lol ya but the real world is keeping my a$$ jiggling ha ha ha!!! ...... ya I gotta plan ahead, I should have just had breakfast, when I'm hungry and out I'll do something dumb.... best not to be hungry...... I had no idea... I couldn't figure out what I was doing different... but then I looked at someone else's diet calendar and saw carbs next to lemon juice and I freaked! all I've been drinking other than coffee was lemon juice in water!!! ya I'm thinking I'm pretty carb sensitive. any mistakes I make really show..... so... plain water... eat before I go out and need a new scale... need to plan meals better and make myself some frozen dinners or something. the easier it is the more likely youre gonna stick to it.

It's natural to have to work through these life lessons and adaptations when you're losing weight. Look at Philmck thinking about them now as he looks ahead towards maintenance. It's good that you hit a little bump in the road and starting thinking about why that happened, how you feel about it, and what you can do to prevent that happening when you don't really want it to in the future. A lot of people fall off the horse and let it drag them miles down the road, where they give up entirely because they're too discouraged. We see that with a lot of people here. Figuring these things out so you can carry on in a way that works for YOU is a huge part of this when you have more than 5 or 10 pounds to lose. I think it's great that you're figuring it all out for yourself!
