Hello FS world! I am usually quite on websites and kinda of keep to myself(I do try to encourage others in their endeavors because I know how at times that can make a difference to someone) (just as I am in the real world) but I seem to be going through some frustrations and felt that maybe if I were to share them it would assist me. In September I had my right knee scoped no problems back up next day all is good. So now here we are in February I have had the left knee done (worse of the two) which has taken me three times longer to get moving around. Less than a week later I developed a rash around the knee that spread to the other leg and around my neck. So to the doctors I went and now I am taking steroids and a antihistamine to try and get rid of the was(Which by the way is still not healing which will require another visit) and they are making eat like a cow! I have not been able to work out since the 8th due to my issues and they just peeves me off! I know that I have not ate well the last few days but I have been honest as to what I have eaten in my journal. Some of my lack of restraint in eating is frustration of not being able to do what I want. Thank you for allowing me to vent I just really needed to do that tonight and maybe it will be enough to keep me eating correctly oil I can go back to working out. Good luck to you all in your endeavors and have a joyous day!

I am sorry to hear that you are currently dealing with these medical issues. I think it's normal to get frustrated and revert to our old ways but try to stay positive and get back to your good eating habits. Remember losing weight is mainly what you eat - what is it they say? 80% Diet/20% Exercise? ... Well, if you are getting the 80% right then it will be easier to get back to 100% when your medical issues clear up. Good luck to you!

Life can kick us so hard at times and you do not even know it. You can see what it is doing to you and that is a great step. I injured my back two years ago and well at my way to 50 extra pounds and I think that was from the pain and frustration. The doctors never help any either, seems like when you go to get better it a guessing game on what they are going to do with you. Hang in there you got this.

I have bone on bone arthritis in both knees, so I understand the frustration. I agree with Pearson16....You can't control the physical/exercise part right now, but I/we/you can still control the diet part of it. It'll come :-)
