Okay folks, if you are low-carbing it you've got to try this.
http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/chicken_cordonbleu_casserole.html
I swapped out the sour cream for mayo and added some dijon mustard. I'll probably use less ham next time because I have to watch my sodium a little more than most and if you look at my intake from yesterday my sodium was higher than Cheech & Chong the day WA decriminalized pot.
Seriously.
But other than that?
OH MY GOD the taste ... THE TASTE. We have a guest staying for a few days and she just about held me down with a rock until I wrote it down for her.
If you're following a low-fat diet, unless you can find a way to successfully sub out the tasty ... er ... I mean "unhealthy" .. stuff, it's not going to work nearly so well. As it is, no matter how many times you adjust it, there's going to be a bucket or so of fat floating around the nommy goodness.
But that's where the taste lives, ammirite?
(I'd just like to apologize for my use of that flippin' stupid term. I haven't had coffee yet. Can you tell?)
